Stop Motion Wanderlust

Inspired by a TED talk by Stefan Sagmeister we packed up a Canon 5D and travelled through South America, Europe, and New Zealand. This is a little of what we saw.

DOT - Una chica de 9 mm.

Inspirada en los Diminutos, un equipo de los estudios Aardman logró fijar una lente microscópica a un Nokia N8. La animación stop-motion es protagonizada por una niña de 9 mm llamada Punto que lucha en un mundo microscópico. Toda la animación fue rodada utilizando la tecnología CellScope y un teléfono N8 Nokia con su cámara de 12 megapíxeles (óptica Carl Zeiss).

"It also gave me the chance to ask myself a few questions, like, if you're always observing and documenting what you see and experience, are you ever truly present? Questions like that where I could step back think and then see what the answers were", Smith says.
